We have a café on-site (please see café page on this website), the park is situated 1.5 miles from the village of Doddington, (it can be walked to by public footpath), which has two pubs (of which one is dog friendly), two convenience shops, a post office and a fish & chip shop. March is the nearest town, which is 6 miles away, and has major supermarkets, pubs and restaurants.
Of course, a maximum of 4 dogs on a touring pitch and maximum of 2 dogs in a lodge and 1 dog in a glamping pod. We have an excellent "dog off the lead area" too. Unfortunately we don't allow XL Bully type dogs, (Dogs that need an exemption certificate).
No, the touring and glamping closes in December, January & February. The Lodges are open all year round and so is the fishing, except for Christmas Day.
No, sorry we are an adult only park, we only allow children around the lakes if they are fishing and accompanied by an adult.
Yes, we have 3 buses a day (No 56) pass the entrance to the site, these buses go to Doddington, March, March train Station, Tesco’s & Wisbech. There are connecting services from Doddington, but there can be a bit of a wait or walk/drive to Doddington for the departure times.

Absolutely, the Main Park has a lovely facility with male and female rooms, each have a cubicle with a shower, toilet and basin in, plus separate showers and toilets. The Caravan & Motorhome Club’s certified location, also has its own separate well presented block with a self contained cubicle. We also have an excellent key card operated disabled building. Waterside has a excellent modern facilities block with 4 fully self contained rooms.
I am afraid we don't allow vans or sign written vans or commercial vehicles towing caravans, sorry.
Between 12.15pm and 8pm from April – September and 12pm - 6pm in October November and March, departure is by 11am sharp please, if you wish to stay until 5pm, and there is no arrival on your pitch, then you may for an extra £5.
Yes, there are a couple of options, we recommended this option too, as parking is expensive in Cambridge.

If you are an existing customer, you can request a pitch or a section of the park, and if it is available, we will do our best to keep it for you, we just can’t guarantee it. You are guaranteed your pitch type (e.g Fully serviced grass pitch). We have recently introduced "Pick your Pitch", for 4 night or more stays, you can now pick your pitch for an additional £20 fee, and you are guaranteed that pitch on arrival.

It does depend quite a lot on which pitch you are on, where the services come out of your unit, and the direction you park your unit in (e.g tow bar in first or reverse in), but worst case scenario, you may need up to 14 meters of waste, a lot less in many cases. We do sell extra pipe and joiners in the reception.
We allow 5th wheelers in the April through to October, but sorry we can’t accept RV’s or motorhomes over 28ft/8.5 metrs long, there is an additional £2/night for 5th wheelers.
We do have very good wi-fi onsite, it is out sourced to another company and you buy it from your device, and there is a charge for it.
Check-in is from 3pm, but if you wish to book and early arrival from 12pm, you may, for an additional charge, subject to availability. Check out is strictly 9.15am.
The Pods are well equipped, all you need to bring is your clothes, wash bag, and your food and drink, we supply a mattress and cover, so you will need to bring bedding and cutlery and crockery (you can book a utensil pack at the time of booking) for an extra charge.
Fishing is free for anyone staying on Waterside, you will need to dip your landing net, to gain a free permit to fish.

We take this as a deposit, held against damage to the lodge or for excessive cleaning, the £100 is held to one side in your account until approximately 4 working days after your departure.

We have Carp to 27lbs, Barbell to 10lbs, Tench to 10lbs, Perch to 3lbs, Cruchian Carp to 3lbs, Chubb to 4lbs, Ide to 6lbs, plus various other species shapes and sizes.
From December 1st and February 28th, you can fish the lakes but you do need to purchase a winter seasonal ticket, this gives you unlimited fishing for the 3 months.

All touring pitches on the park are now fully serviced, upgraded the Paddock over the winter.
Day fishing arrival times:
October - November 2024, 8am - 2pm, no admission between 11am -12pm or after 2pm.
December, January & February - Winter seasonal permits available £30 unlimited fishing, no day tickets.
Please leave by dusk or 9.30pm whichever comes soonest, and bring the correct change with you.
