Fields End Water is a dog-friendly campsite located in Cambridge, UK.
Whether it's a short fishing trip you are after or just a quiet holiday away. We have a dedicated and secure “off the lead” area where dogs are free to run around and play.
If you’re looking to fish in style, then look no further than our Luxury Glamping Pods. Duck Pod, Heron Pod and Kingfisher Pod all welcome dogs and there are some beautiful scenic walks nearby that you can explore. Please note that one of our Pods (Moorhen Pod) is dog-free.
Our dedicated caravan site – encompasses The Paddock, The Main Park, Woodside and Waterside. Woodside is a dedicated area for pitching caravans and motorhomes, where we have 6 fully serviced hardstanding pitches, and Waterside is for units to park just 3 metres from the water’s edge. All of these areas welcome dogs, where they can access the “off the lead” area nearby.
We also have a 2km onsite dog-friendly walk around the park which starts and finishes at the Lakeside Cafe. From the Cafe, you can follow the dedicated marker posts around all 3 lakes, through some woodland and briefly out into the open Fenland before returning to the Lakeside Café. There are miles of public footpaths in the surrounding area for you to explore with your canine friend.
Bring your family, friends, and furry companions to experience the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and dog-friendly hospitality. Book your pitch or glamping pod now for an unforgettable retreat in the heart of Cambridgeshire. If you have any questions you can call us on 01354 740199.
Unfortunately we don't allow XL Bully type dogs, (Dogs that need an exemption certificate).
There are a few steps to help prepare for a camping holiday with your dog.
Usually, your dog will sleep with you when camping, whether that’s in a glamping pod, motorhome or even a tent. It may be worth bringing your pooch’s bedding if there is room, so they have a familiar place to sleep.
Having your dog sleep near you in a tent will help keep them warm, as the tent will naturally warm up with body heat during the night. If it’s going to be chilly, plan ahead and bring an extra blanket for them!
If you are a resident at Fields End, that’s not a problem. Your pooch would need to be on a lead at all times, and we don’t allow dogs with day fishermen, sorry.
